GROUP BOOKINGS

We are always happy to welcome groups on board and are open to collaborating with agencies. We operate our tours on a regular daily schedule aboard our famous boat, Moby Dick, and our newly added modern boat, Vinur.

TOURS WITHIN OUR DAILY SCHEDULE
If group bookings are done in advance, the tour leader can join for free & be offered a collaboration contract for the agency.
We offer -15% discounts for groups from 10PAX+, and we are open to new partnerships and collaborations with agencies.
Departure time for groups follows our daily schedule. If you would like to request a tour outside of our schedule please contact our office directly, we are flexible!

VINUR | THE ARCTIC EXPLORER

Vinur means "friend" in Icelandic, and she has truly lived up to her name. Since joining our fleet in 2025, she has become a trusted companion, allowing us to welcome more guests while offering comfort in every kind of weather.

With heated indoor seating, spacious outdoor decks and two restrooms, Vinur lets you enjoy the tour your way. Her modern design and higher cruising speed also give our captains greater flexibility to explore more of Skjálfandi Bay when conditions require it.

MOBY DICK | Open deck OAK BOAT

Moby Dick is our beautifully restored traditional Icelandic oak boat. Originally built as a fishing vessel in 1976, she now offers an authentic whale watching experience with open decks and uninterrupted views of Skjálfandi Bay.

There's something special about feeling the sea breeze, hearing the waves and standing close to the water as whales surface nearby. If you're looking for the classic Húsavík whale watching experience, Moby Dick is the perfect choice.

Join our unique story

Our founder, owner and head captain Arnar was the first captain sailing whale watching tours from Húsavík. The first boat „Vinur” (isl. „Friend”) started sailing back in 1994, and shortly after „Moby Dick” in 1996.

Our team may be small but you will be in very experienced hands.

Since 2023, in the pristine waters of Skjálfandi Bay, the new „Moby Dick” is out at sea and we offer daily tours departing from Húsavík Harbour.
